Marie received her Bachelor’s in Music Education at Eastern Illinois University where she studied violin under Dr. Ji Myung Kim and cello under David Commanday. Marie loves teaching and sharing her passion for music with students.
Her lessons are purposefully tailored to each individual student’s needs and she strongly believes in the importance of developing foundational techniques without sacrificing the enjoyment of music. Her classroom is a safe, enjoyable, and empathetic teaching space where students can be free to express themselves on their own musical journey.
